The HMA/HMLA-269 Gunrunners Alumni Association has a campaign to fund the building of a commemorative marker to recognize the 53+ years of service of the squadron and to appropriately honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice either in training, during contingency operations, or in combat while assigned to 269.   The monument will located in the Lejeune Memorial Gardens in Jacksonville, NC.
